WHO AM I?
I have been a leader and coach for 16 years and I have qualifications all the way up to Masters level. But it’s my lived experience that will be of most value to you in helping you succeed.
In 2005, I had a life-threatening car accident that left me with a severe traumatic brain injury. Learning to walk and talk again was the easy part. It was the rewiring of my emotional and spiritual life that took many more years. This required a strong focus on building my own self-awareness. That led to a greater understanding of beliefs and behaviours that support a healthy life – psychologically and physically.
I work with people to build their self-awareness and resilience to live a life of purpose and joy. This always starts with self-care.
I also regularly speak at organisations about how I overcame challenges, trauma and unpredictability to find a healthy balance in my life.
My lived experience of neuroplasticity showed me that we all have the ability to take our life from negative to positive. Peace of mind is achievable in an unpredictable world.
I’ve recently been published by Arianna Huffington’s Thrive Global magazine. you might find some helpful tips on very different topics! The first provides insights on whether to stay married. Read it HERE. The second, tells my own story of how I rewired my heart – which, in the end, was more important than rewiring my brain. Read it HERE.
